I'M HENRY MARTIN

I'm your coach, Henry Martin. I attended a typical school, earned average grades, and felt a deep sense of dissatisfaction from an early age.
Early in life, I equated wealth with freedom, so I pursued money relentlessly, along with anything else I thought would fill the void—whether it was material possessions or fleeting pleasures.
When I brought home my first paycheck from a sales job, it exceeded far more than I had earned before. I thought I had "made it." I was adept at understanding people and identifying their needs, but at that time, my sole focus was financial gain, not the value I could bring to others.
I eventually found myself on a recruitment team, placing SAP specialists in the oil and gas industry. Despite my success, I felt a profound disconnect, especially considering the values my mother instilled in me about environmental responsibility. It was clear that the industry I worked in was driven purely by profit, and I couldn’t reconcile my role within it.
I left that job and embarked on extensive travels, which left me feeling even more adrift. But during that journey, a realisation struck me: What can I contribute to the world, rather than simply take from it?
This shift in perspective led me to start several successful businesses from the ground up, each one guided by the question of how I could add value. Working with an exceptional coach, I discovered where my true strengths lie—where I could serve in a meaningful way, making work feel less like a chore and more like a calling.
Today, I live in Cape Town, a city I consider the best in the world, and I’m fortunate to travel globally, doing what I love. I approach life with purpose, showing up fully as my own hero.
